Terry Crews has been very open about his battle with porn addiction and the 90-day abstinence vow he and his wife Rebecca took to reinvigorate their marriage.
Now, the actor is diving even deeper into his dark past in order to encourage those who are also struggling to seek help.
“I didn’t get help to get my wife back,” he insists. “I got help because I needed it.”
The star explained on Facebook how people dismiss the addiction: “If day turns into night, and you’re still watching, there’s a problem!” he declared.
The 47-year-old talked emotionally about how his wife didn’t recognize him anymore, which resulted in his stint in rehab. Now, the star is using his platform to spread a message of encouragement to anyone else who is suffering:
“When you tell, and you put it out there in the opening, it loses its power.”
