Another day, another Amy Schumer non-apology.

This time around, the comedian is digging herself out of the deep hole she dug after recreating Beyoncé‘s “Formation” video, which birthed the hashtag #AmySchumerGottaGoParty. On Tuesday, Schumer published a post on Medium about how much she loved Lemonade and felt like she just had to make something.

She went on to explain that she was “sickened and horrified” by the events addressed in Beyoncé’s video, but she was sure Beyoncé was telling us to all fight for what we wanted and come together. But the penance turned into remorselessness as Amy’s letter continued. She wrote:

“If you watched it and it made you feel anything other than good, please know that was not my intention. The movie we made is fun and the women in it are strong and want to help each other. That’s what it was about for me. Of course I had Beyoncé and Jay Z’s approval. They released it on Tidal exclusively for the first 24 hours. You have every right to feel however you feel about the video and me but I want you to know I’m not going anywhere. Use whatever hashtag you like. My mission is to continue to work as hard as I can to empower women and make them laugh and feel better and I won’t let anything stop me.#strongertogether #alllove”

Earlier this week, Amy Schumer confirmed that she had Beyoncé’s blessing to do the video. Where are the receipts?
