When it comes to speaking on political issues, French Montana admittedly tends to opt out. But the recent allegations of racial discrimination against Delta Airlines was enough to force the Bronx emcee to say something.

French took to Instagram to weigh in on an incident that has now gone viral, in which YouTube star Adam Saleh and a few of his friends were being extorted off the plane after six white people complained that they were uncomfortable when Saleh began to speak Arabic. Iggy Azalea’s beau posted the viral video and vowed never to use Delta Airlines again, writing, “I don’t like speaking on things like this but this struck a nerve. I have a mother that doesn’t speak English and discrimination like this make [sic] me really sad. The fact that this can happen to her makes me sick. I’m NOT using delta anymore smh #equality

This isn’t the first time Delta has been in hot water regarding discrimination. Back in October, the airline faced a mountain of public scrutiny after denying black OBGYN Tamika Cross the opportunity to help a sick passenger because a flight attendant did not believe she was a medical professional.

Let’s hope Delta’s next apology is more genuine than their last.
