Chrisette Michele is still feeling the wrath of social media following her decision to perform at Donald Trump‘s Inaugural Ball last month.

But the songstress is not letting the naysayers stop her coins. After a slew of interviews defending her decision to follow through with the controversial performance, fans still accused the singer of only doing it for the money and decided that she’s “canceled” from the Black community.

Chrisette took to Instagram to respond to the backlash with a photo of herself on stage in Mississippi. She captioned the pic, “You can’t cancel Gods grace. Sold out show tonight in Mississippi. #Blessed #KingsKid #NoPoliticalGenius”

In other words, she could give a darn what a hater has to say, because she’s still booked. The singer, who kicked off the year with controversy, posted another photo of herself, all smiles, with the caption, “Laughing all the way there.”

They say all press is good press, and Chrisette Michele’s decision to perform for Trump may have raised her stock for everyone…except Black Twitter.
