Sister, Sister fans have been asking about a reboot of the hit show since it went off the air in 1999 — eight years later, their wishes are coming true.

In a recent interview with Nylon, Tia Mowry confirmed that there is indeed a revival of the show in the works, however, the rebooting process is taking a lot longer than she would like it to. She told the mag, “We’re looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show. I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be. Everything in my career has always been a challenge.”

The news of a Sister, Sister reboot comes just months after shows like Full House and That’s So Raven announced that they were returning to television. Tia is currently busy taking Hollywood by storm with her cooking channel and mommy advice while Tamera‘s time is split between being a mom of two and co-hosting The Real. Will you be watching the Sister, Sister reboot?
