#FreeMeekMill fans got some great news today. The Philly rapper has been confirmed to perform on the Stadium Stage on Sunday, June 10 at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2018 in Rutherford, NJ.

With Meek Mill’s announcement comes more great news. Hot 97 has decided to donate $10,000 to the Justice League NYC to support their criminal justice reform initiatives.

“We are happy to welcome our man Meek Mill is to the Summer Jam stage. He has been through hell and what he needs is mad love and our continued support,” said Ebro Darden, Asst. Program Director, HOT 97’s morning show host. Meek Mill’s case gained national attention since his controversial imprisonment five months ago, with numerous celebrities speaking out as well as protests in support of his release.

Obviously, with Meek’s release from prison, criminal justice reform has been a hot issue. However, Meek isn’t the first celebrity to spark dialog. Hit the flip to check out other celebrities who are pushing for prison reform.
