Everyone is patiently awaiting the second season of “The Chi” on Showtime. Created by Lena Waithe, “The Chi” is about the daily dangers of the South Side of Chicago and how the smallest and simplest decisions can have life or death consequences for the residents. The show follows a group of grade school kids and young adults in the area that are trying to scrape a living for themselves, while the elders sit on their front porches and observe the goings on. It’s a beautifully made television show that will draw you in from the first episode. The show’s second season returns to Showtime on April 7th.
