The support flowing in for Trayvon Martin after the verdict was read that his killer, George Zimmerman, was not guilty of murder and manslaughter, has been overwhelming.

All kinds of celebrities have been showing love to the family of the 17-year-old Florida native, and many have gone on to continue to fight for his justice.

Now, one of the biggest celebrities in the world, Beyonce, is not only showing support, but she even posted a petition to her website in his honor.

On her site, I Am Beyonce, she writes:

WE ARE STILL STRUGGLING WITH THE ISSUE OF INEQUALITY AND THE LACK OF VALUE FOR A BLACK MAN’S LIFE. TRAYVON MARTIN’S MOST BASIC CIVIL RIGHT, THE RIGHT TO LIVE, WAS VIOLATED.

WE HAVE MADE SO MUCH PROGRESS AND CANNOT ALLOW HATRED AND RACISM TO DIVIDE US. WHEN WE ALL JOIN TOGETHER, PEOPLE OF ALL RACES, WE HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD WE LIVE IN.

WE MUST FIGHT FOR TRAYVON THE SAME WAY THE GENERATION BEFORE US FOUGHT FOR EMMETT TILL.
I JOINED OVER 570,000 PEOPLE IN SIGNING THE PETITION BELOW AND HOPEFULLY YOU WILL, TOO.

This is a huge move by singer, and we’re so happy to see her fighting for what she thinks is right!

The 31-year-old also posted some more photos to her site, where she visited Ebenezer Church while stopping in Atlanta and she couldn’t hold back on sharing her thoughts, reflecting on Martin Luther King Jr.

Check out all her postings in the photos below.
