It’s easy for celebrities to feel bullied by haters when they have social networks like Twitter and Instagram, but they usually don’t expect it from other celebrities.

It all began when Ciara recently got offended by Rihanna‘s BFF Melissa posting a picture of Ri RI and her girls singing or watching Ci Ci’s do her new song “Body Party” acapella in a bathroom, which some took as the bad gal clan throwing shade.

NEW MUSIC: Ciara “Body Party”

It turns out the “Goodies” singer realized that RiRi and her girls were throwing shots at her, and now she is finally addressing the potential beef.

She recently called into 107.5 to talk about the beef, as well as her upcoming appearance on The Game.

She told the station:

On Rihanna & Melissa’s Instagram Photo (which many fans interpreted as a diss):

“I thought everything was cool because I actually saw Rihanna two years ago at the Met Gala after we had the little small back and forth and from what I recall everything was cool. So, in my mind I operate from a place of love and pure support. If you would have asked me about her up until this point I would have nothing but good things to say because I’m really happy for her. But I didn’t receive what they did from a positive place,”

On appearing on BET’s “The Game”:

She revealed that she plays an entertainer named “Ciara” but it’s only loosely based on her life. (Um, OK.) “The things that I do are things I could NEVER do as a person!  It the unexpectedness of me as an entertainer and it gets real serious.”

At least Ciara is keeping her composure as much as she can throughout this situation. Hopefully Rihanna’s team can chill on throwing anymore shade!
