The Hunger Games is a huge sensation among teens and adults alike in the U.S. The film, which will be released in theaters this Friday, March 23rd, is based on the book by Suzanne Collins, and for those who don’t know, chronicles children in the future fighting to death on live television.
Many people expect this film to surpass Twilight in popularity!

So we wanted to introduce you to some of the prominent males in this movie. After all, most of the women you know will be crushing on them in the near future.
We managed to get some fun facts about these guys, besides for the fact that three of these actors have gained popularity extremely quickly!
First up: Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta Mellark from District 12.
Josh Hutcherson revealed to Seventeen magazine that his celeb crush is none other than the beautiful Zoe Saldana. Josh also briefly dated Vanessa Hudgens; safe to say his stock is rising!
He also admitted that if he could trade places with someone for a day, he would trade places with LeBron James so that he could “retain all his superpowers.”
Next we have Wes Bentley, who plays Seneca Cane, the head Game Maker for the 74th annual Hunger Games. Yeah, he’s the one who makes the kids kill each other – the proverbial puppet master of the whole thing.
But the real guy Wes Bentley is quite interesting indeed. Did you know he has the same birthday as Beyonce, September 4th? Bentley was close friends with the late Heath Ledger and loves playing soccer.
Then there’s Miley’s man Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale Hawthorne, a close friend of main girl Katniss’.
We also bet you didn’t know Liam actually started his career on an Australian soap opera.
He’s also a man’s man. He once said in an interview that “Best Buy is the way to his heart.” Hope Miley is buying lots of DVDs! The actor also said that he has incredible hygiene and smells good. We bet.
Alexander Ludwig plays the bad guy Cato who is the cutthroat killer tribute from District 2.
Ludwig is not only an actor, but he sings as well. He released his first single earlier this month. Alex also admitted that he loves to order chocolate milkshakes from room service.
Then there’s Lenny Kravitz who plays killer stylist Cinna whose designs are fire!
Even though Lenny Kravitz has been around for a while, there are also some surprising facts about the singer.
Kravitz was actually celibate for several years, starting in 2005.
He’s also passionate about architecture and interior design. In fact, he is working on designing a hotel in Miami with a French designer.
The singer/actor also has mentioned he loves Brazil and travels there often.
