Newly single Katie Holmes is wasting no time getting back into the swing of things! The divorced Dawson’s Creek actress was spotted walking through Chelsea in New York City with a handsome mystery man.

The new guy, who sports a salt and pepper hair do, took Katie to see the film If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet starring Maggie Gyllenhaal. Suri’s mama and her suitor also stopped at a trendy coffee stop and enjoyed a nice walk around town, before heading into her apartment.

The New York Daily News reports:
“She was smiling, very relaxed,” the spy told the publication.
Holmes is often seen getting into SUVs with bodyguards at the ready, but on Saturday afternoon, the actress was flying solo when she stepped out of her pad. She literally ran down a side street and hopped into a yellow taxi, which took her to 46th St. and Sixth Ave. After stopping into a Times Square Starbucks, she met her friend, who was toting the novel “Independence Day.”
