On March 7th, Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki, finally announced to the world that she was pregnant after rumors swirled that she was trying to hide her pregnancy.
Who would have ever guessed that she would be having a baby? The reality star whom we associate with drinking, partying, tanning and pickles will have a little ‘meatball’ of her own this summer. Among all the other celebrity moms, Snooki will most definitely stand out in the crowd.

The 24-year-old has made some interesting comments about her future child. It does appear as if she plans on making some changes in her lifestyle to accommodate her future baby.
She told Us Weekly, “I have different priorities now. I don’t care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I’m ready and he’s ready.” Snooks also made a wise decision not to continue to with the reality show. The mom to be said, “I’m not living in that house being pregnant. I don’t want to be one of those moms who’s pregnant in a club. It’s disgusting.”
The reality star also mentioned that she won’t be urinating on porches anymore, probably because she will be too busy worrying about her child peeing all over!
She also has said some things that make you think Snooki hasn’t changed one bit. i.e. “I had a dream I was in labor and my mom induced me with a shot in my shoulder,” she said. “My old principal was my doctor. You know when you hold in a fart and it hurts? In my dream they were contractions.”
The reality actress also expressed her desire to have her co-star Pauly D, DJ in the delivery room. Am I the only one who finds that request a bit odd? Apparently not, because Pauly D just said he’d DJ the baby shower instead. Can she wait just a bit longer to play house music for the baby?
Her co-star and fellow meatball, Deena, feels confident that Snooki will be a great mom. She told Ryan Seacrest, “I think Nicole is going to be a great mom, She’s a very genuine person and her heart’s always in the right place. She always puts people before her.” Sounds like Snooki does have potential to be a well-rounded mother.

People are quick to judge others when they are not in the other individuals’ shoes. Even though Snooki likes to party often, that doesn’t mean she won’t be a good mother. What young person doesn’t like to party? I just hope that when Snooki has her baby, she will step up and limit her partying and focus more on her family. Also, I think it will be important for her to balance being famous and being a mother.
The meatball will most likely be a fun loving mom who will learn a great deal from the experience. Snooki cares a great deal for her friends and family and I believe that she will show the same affection towards her baby. With that being said, she’s still a meatball and Jersey Shore guidette! I’m sure she will be beachin’ it up with the little one and introduce the baby to pickles whenever he/she is old enough!
