It’s confirmed: Amy Winehouse had the wiggly feeling for “Mr. Jones,” aka Nas.

Nas, whose birth name is Nasir Jones, confirmed in an interview with XXL that Amy’s hit song “Mr. Jones” was indeed about no one other than him.

STORY: Amy Winehouse Is Dead!

Nas and Amy had been spotted together in London hanging out, but both maintained they were just friends.

Amy and Nas were just friends, but apparently Amy secretly had a school-girl crush on the rapper and decided to write a song about him.

In “Mr. Jones,” Amy sings “Nobody stands between me and my man/’Cause it’s me and Mr. Jones.”

Nas talked about when he first learned that Amy had written and produced a song about him.

“I don’t really remember if Salaam-Remi (Amy’s Producer), who was really close to her, who introduced us, if he told me about it or not,” Nas said. “I don’t remember right now. But, I heard a lot about it before I even heard the song.”

Unfortunately we lost the talents of Amy Winehouse this summer, but her memory has been living on through the efforts of her family and friends.

RIP Amy.
