There’s only one rapper that can drop a Molly Ringwald reference in 2012 and get away with it, and that would be the boy Danny Brown.

The Detroit-native just released a song named after the popular ’80s actress that will be part of the adidas Originals’ Songs From Scratch documentary series.
In the track, the raunchy rapper goes in for over two minutes, punctuating his verse by repeating:
“Red head hoe, look like Molly Ringwald.”
Oh, Danny.
The song features production by the boy AraabMuzik, who comes through with a sinister-sounding lead by heavy keyboards.
If you’re feeling the track, and want to own it, it will be released next month on vinyl by Yours Truly. Also being released by Yours Truly is Joey Bada$$’ collaboration with producer Chuck Strangers: “Songs from Scratch.”
