With only three features on Channel Orange, Frank Ocean enlisted the help of Outkast’s Andre 3000 for his introspective track “Pink Matter.”

Initially, Big Boi of the duo Outkast said that both he and Andre 3 Stacks, were supposed to be on “Pink Matter,” but Andre wanted to refrain from an Outkast collaboration on someone else’s album.

“What do you think my brain is made for/is it just a container for the mind/this great gray matter/sensei it replied/ what is your woman/is she just a container for the child/that soft pink matter- cotton candy, Majin Buu” sings Frank.
