The woman filed an official complaint Tuesday against the Greg Kelly, claiming the co-host of Fox 5’s “Good Day New York” attacked her last October, the sources said.

The alleged assault took place on October 8th when Kelly and the woman, who is around 30, met and went for drinks at the South Street Seaport.

According to the New York Times, the two went to her office at a law firm in downtown Manhattan, where the assault allegedly happened.

She says that when her boyfriend found out about the encounter, he confronted Raymond Kelly at a public event, and the commissioner told him to write a letter detailing the allegations.

Kelly denies any wrongdoing of any kind. His lawyer responded, “We know that the District Attorney’s investigation will prove Mr. Kelly’s innocence.”

He added:

“Mr. Kelly is aware that the New York County District Attorney’s office is conducting an investigation.

Mr. Kelly strenuously denies any wrongdoing of any kind, and is cooperating fully with the district attorney’s investigation. We know the district attorney’s investigation will prove Mr. Kelly’s innocence.”

The case is being investigated by the DA’s office because of the potential conflict of interest in the NYPD.

Before serving as co-anchor of Good Day New York, Kelly served as a fighter pilot for nine years in the United States Marine Corps and holds the rank of major in the Reserves.
