It’s Memorial Day in the U.S. And while that means a turned-up three day weekend for some, it’s a day of reflection and rememberance for others.
Nobody understands that more than President Barack Obama, who visits Arlington National Cemetary ever year to honor those fallen members of the United States Armed Forces.
You’ll likely catch him speaking to family and friends of the deceased, visiting the tombs of forgotten soldiers, and taking time to reflect personally, as seen in the photo above.
But there is proof the President will likely partake in another Memorial Day tradition;
The Barbecue. Or a “cookout” depending on where you’re from. But whatever the case, we’re totally trying to break bread with the Obamas during the first bbq-friendly weekend of the season.
Why? Because they’re not afraid to eat. And if you know anything about us … neither are we.
Fire up the grill, Barry! Here’s to hoping you’ll invite us all to your crib to kick back.
Then maybe we can see some inside, top secret sh*t like this:
Hot dogs and smack talking with other White House officials … and maybe even a game of spades.
Or counterterrorism strategizing with the homies over bacon cheddar burgers…
And taste testing Marian Shield Robinson’s (FLOTUS’ mom) potato salad. Cuz you know we don’t eat just anybody’s potato salad!
I mean … duh…
And duh, again. Do we really need to give a reason for wanting to drink with the President?
Or, chill out with a cold, fizzy soda…
But back to the food. Specifically burgers. We all know Obama loves his burgers. He’s no different from us
And he’s crushing this burger. It’s literally going…
Going…
Gone…
Basically … he doesn’t play any games. When it comes to food … it’s go time!
Okay, now who is convincing the Obamas to have this bbq? Tell him I’ll bring the pasta salad. Since that’s about all I can eat anyway…
