Whitney Houston’s invitation-only funeral is taking place in New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J. — the late pop titan’s childhood church where she first graced the world with her voice.

Houston died Feb. 11 in Beverly Hills at age 48. Her body arrived in New Jersey late Monday. She will be buried at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J. next to her late father.
May Whitney rest in heavenly peace while her musical legacy lives on earth.
UPDATE:
According to ABC News, Whitney’s ex-husband Bobby Brown arrived at the funeral service and and entered the church for just moment. There was some confusion about whether or not he was denied entry, but it was reported that he did in fact enter the New Hope Baptist Church. Nearly 20 minutes later it was reported that Bobby Brown left the funeral and drove off with his son Landon Brown.
