Police have identified Jacob Tyler Roberts as the gunman in yesterday’s Clackamas Town Center shooting.

Photos have been released of the 22-year-old alleged assailant, showing a young boy with longish hair, but photos on his Facebook page might give police an idea of what prompted him to fire more than 60 shots into the Oregon crowded mall.
One photo shows an unidentified male shooting a gun at targets. Another in his Facebook profile has the words “Follow Your Dreams,” in the picture with the word “CANCELLED” painted across.
Roberts, 22, used a stolen AR-15 semiautomatic rifle and several fully loaded magazines in his rampage that killed two people, before he turned the gun on himself.
Clackamas Country Sheriff Craig Roberts said that the rifle jammed during the attack, but he managed to get it working again.
The sheriff also said that investigators have executed a search of the suspect’s home at 7324 South East 84th Ave. in Portland and his 1996 VW Jetta that was found in the mall parking lot.
Two people — a 54-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man — were killed, and another, Kristina Shevchenko, whose age could not be confirmed, was wounded and in serious condition on Wednesday.
