Tommy and Diamond keep dangerous secrets from each other, Jenard clashes with his crew, and Vic teams up with Claudia one last time. D-Mac ends up entangled deeper in the drug game than he ever intended.

DIAMOND & JENARD SAMPSON

The episode begins with a high Jenard still indulging in his own drugs as he sees Lil K in a hallucination. He is clearly frustrated and realizes that he might’ve made a huge mistake. At the shop, Leon’s mother shows up to confirm that Diamond is serious about teaching her son how to protect himself. There’s an obvious attraction between Gianna and Diamond. Jenard is still doing anything to try and stay afloat. While cooking up with one of his workers, we see them mixing the drugs with baby powder. Jenard is focused on trying to recruit more younguns to help them move their product. He receives a text from the Serbs telling him that his money is due and they don’t want to have to come find him. He’s asked about the marks on his neck but quickly changes the subject before doing yet another line in front of someone who works with him. We see the return of Seamus this episode. It turns out that’s who was texting Diamond about not returning their calls. He tells Diamond that his sister had a setback and he needs $50,000 from him that night or else he’ll get him sent back to prison. Tommy witnessed the conversation take place. When Seamus left, Tommy entered and got to asking questions. Diamond lies about the reason for Seamus’ visit. He rebuttals one of Tommy’s questions and asks him why he’s asking about a dead body. Tommy lets him know that he had to kill one of Rojas’ men. Diamond says that he’ll make sure the situation is handled and that the message is crystal clear. We got to see Diamond spending time teaching Leon how to box. He explains how his father being mean made him get into it and how it has helped him during his life. At Shanti’s gym, Jenard confesses what he did to Lil K. As she starts to berate him about his decision, he gives her an ultimatum…either she’s with him or she’s not. She provides him with some comfort when she assures him that she’s here for him. As they kiss, she asks Jenard if he’s on something (drug wise) and he replies that it’s a lack of sleep. The conversation is brought to a stop when Miguel summons Jenard. When Jenard arrives, Miguel questions him about the delay in getting his money. Jenard’s excuses (CBI not paying their part and the Serbs taxing him for it) aren’t good enough for Miguel. Him and his men contain Jenard and put a knife to his face, threatening to cut his left eye out so he can see right. Before any real action can be taken, Mireya enters to help her brother with his insulin shot. She leaves the room but not without making eye contact with a hemmed up Jenard. As requested, Diamond delivers the money to Seamus. Diamond is blindsided when Seamus tells him that he wants another $25,000. Once again, Tommy sees the whole interaction. When the two meet up, Tommy again brings it to Diamond’s attention, all but accusing him of being a snitch. Diamond comes clean about what’s been going on with Seamus. A relieved Tommy tells Diamond that he’s not paying Seamus anymore and to set up a meet with him. He also gives Diamond a duffle bag with new burners since there’s so many different groups of people after them. Speaking of being after people, Jenard just couldn’t escape his problems. A few of his soldiers pull up to ask Jenard if they’ve seen or heard from Lil K (one of them tells Jenard that he was with Lil K when Jenard hit him up for a ride). Jenard says that he hasn’t and that Lil K probably ended up with a woman. In the middle of their conversation, Jenard takes a bump of coke, causing Greyskull (one of the soldiers) to call him out about it. He mentions how Jenard stepping on the product has them looking crazy in the streets which takes money out of their pocket. Another soldier sees a post confirming that Lil K is dead and alerts the group. While some of the group is visibly shocked and hurt, Jenard and a couple other members continue counting their money. Greyskull gets more upset and promises that someone else is going to bleed that night. Jenard tells him that he has to grow up and that there can’t be any more bloodshed in the streets. The two begin to argue about what’s more important between getting the money and retaliating. Greysull informs Jenard that he’s not asking him for permission then turns around and begins to walk out. Before he can completely leave, Jenard tells him that if he wants to kill someone, he should kill him. Jenard comes straight out and admits to killing Lil K. Jenard and Greyskull start fighting almost immediately. When Jenard starts to get the other hand, two other Treason members come to the aid of Greyskull. They start to jump Jenard until one of the members shoots bullets in the air so that they stop fighting. The scuffle results in four Treason members leaving and maybe more will follow after Jenard pretty much says Treason is his movie and he’s the main character. The plot is surely thickening in the CBI movie. Diamond finds out about the task force that was put together and how CBI was on the top of the list. His lawyer friend also mentions how it wouldn’t hurt to have a friend in the CPD to stay ahead of things. Ironically enough, just as their having that conversation, Seamus texts him about the money he asked him for earlier. How much further will Jenard downward spiral last? What will happen to the members of Treason who left?

THE FLYNNS

Walter and Paulie discuss their next move when it comes to Dublin. Paulie urges Walter to let him speak with Doyle so he can buy them some time but Walter is not a fan of that idea at all. Instead, he tells Paulie to increase the rent on everyone they protect. Claudia meets with Vic and tells him that she has a deal that will get them from other their father permanently. She hips him that someone has offered to give her all of the Oxy, Xanny and Aderall she can unload. The only thing is she needed help unloading it. Vic is content on taking down his father alone until Claudia hints towards Walter playing him. She tells him to go check out what Walter is doing with Gloria’s bar. When Vic arrives, he is pissed to find out that the bar has basically been turned into a prostitution ring/strip club. Elsewhere, Paulie ignores Walter’s wishes and goes to talk to Brendan Doyle. He hands him an envelope of money and asks that Dublin give Walter more time. Doyle explains that Walter’s financial issues don’t fall on anybody but himself. Despite what he said, Doyle tells Paulie that he’ll consider his ask. Claudia finally made her presence felt in a big way. She strikes a deal with Mirkovic and the Serbs. She does so by lying and making it seem like Jenard and Diamond are still working together and mentioning how CBI runs the drug game in the prisons now. These things coupled with the fact that she states Walter won’t be apart of the deal did enough to get Mirkovic on board. Unsuspecting of any of this, Walter meets with Doyle face to face. Walter gives him some money and tells him there’s more coming. He goes on to explain how he’s moving more pills and washing more money than he ever has before. Before he leaves, Doyle admits that he was wrong about Walter and makes a toast to him and Paulie. Doyle tells Walter about Paulie dropping off the money earlier trying to buy them time. Walter is not happy about this at all. His brings his drunk self to Paulie’s home at who knows what time yelling and causing a commotion. Paulie comes out with his gun, which Walter ended up pointing at him. Although Paulie was literally doing what he thought was right for the family, Walter accuses him of being jealous and wanting to take control for himself. He admits that the only reason he gave him a job is because he’s his wife’s brother and she begged him. As Paulie’s wife stands and watches at the door, Walter tells him that the only reason he’s still alive is because of Claudia and Vic. He then adds that Paulie’s services are no longer needed. Everything around Walter is falling down and he doesn’t even know. His kids reconvene with each other to continue discussing their future plans. Even though Claudia has struck a deal with the Serbs, she doesn’t necessarily trust them and assures her brother that when they don’t need them anymore, she’ll help him kill them. Vic voices concerns about Walter finding out about their deal with the Serbs, they’ll die. Claudia responds that it won’t happen that way if they kill him first. Vic is still hesitant about it all until Claudia reminds him that Walter made their mother suffer, ordered Gloria’s death and constantly puts them up against each other. Realizing that this is as vulnerable as their father will ever be, Vic finally agrees to work with Claudia and the Serbs and to take Walter out. How long will it take for Claudia’s plan to come to fruition? Will Paulie and Walter make ammends?

KATE, JP & D-MAC

Marshall hips D-Mac to what’s been going on since he’s been in the house. D-Mac is disappointed to hear that his Uncle, Diamond and CBI are bossin’ up while he’s inside not doing anything. Marshall keeps it honest with D-Mac and tells him that he’s happy that Tommy is making him stay in considering the fact that he almost got his life taken. D-Mac responds by telling Marshall that he’ll never get caught lacking again then proceeds to show him the gun that he took from the drawer last week. Before they can end their conversation, D-Mac and Marshall are both distracted by a group of young ladies walking by in the park. D-Mac is clearly attracted to one of the girls named Genesis. He immediately mentions that he needs to get back in the game but Genesis doesn’t date broke guys. D-Mac wastes no time when it comes to telling his Uncle what he really wants. He tells Tommy that he wants his old life back and that he’s wasting his talents. Tommy explains that he almost died on two separate occasions. D-Mac threatens to go rock with Treason if CBI won’t put him on. That gets Tommy’s blood boiling a bit. He tells his nephew that if he even hears about him being on the corners, he’d kill D-Mac himself. Later on, D-Mac catches up with Genesis, who promises to go to the movies with him later on but only if he gets a fade since she doesn’t like messy dreads. D-Mac and JP share a moment when JP shows off his piano skills. D-Mac mentions how he used to play for hours hoping that it would bring his father back. JP lets him know that he’s there now. Before it got overly sentimental, D-Mac told JP that he had to leave because he had a date and he had to freshen up. Part of him freshening up must’ve included getting his hair cut because he ended up at the barbershop. Diamond gives Seamus the money he requested and tells him that their arrangement ends now. After Seamus responds and says it ends when he says it does, Tommy chimes in. Tommy tells him that they want to negotiate with him. Tommy and Diamond offer Seamus a job working for them since they need information. Seamus chooses to up his gun and point it at Tommy and Diamond as he explains that he would never work for them. He goes on to say he could kill them and burn the whole building down and no one would even care. Right as Seamus was seemingly about to pull the trigger on Tommy (or Diamond…or both), he’s shot in the back of the head…..BY D-MAC. A completely surprised Tommy asks his nephew what he just did. D-Mac responds by saying that he had his back and Seamus was about to shoot him. Tommy calms a clearly distraught D-Mac down. The episode ends with Tommy, Diamond and D-Mac all trying to figure out what just happened and what’s going to happen next. WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO ABOUT THE DEAD COP ON THEIR HANDS? Has D-Mac reached a point of no return? Will JP and Kate find out that D-Mac is back to being in the streets?

MIGUEL & MIREYA GARCIA, THE MEXICANS & THE SERBS

Tommy follows through on his word to give Mireya a driving lesson. Unfortunately for them, they’re being watched by Vargas and Hardwick. They’re fully committed to trying to figure out who the mystery woman is that Tommy’s with. The two cops are in the midst of following Tommy and Mireya but are stopped in their tracks by an oncoming train. Tommy and Mireya go on a date to the zoo. It’s going really well until Tommy clocks someone who works for Rojas. He goes to the bathroom and the guy follows him. Tommy tries to explain to him that they all have a deal but to no avail. The guy charges at Tommy but is eventually beaten up, stabbed to death and left in the bathroom for dead. Yes, this all happened while Tommy was supposed to be on a date. He tells Mireya that he got a call about his nephew and he had to go take care of it. He requested that they continue their date later on that night. When she shows up, Tommy already has her favorite meal there. He then pours them up drinks and they start to vibe out. Mireya teaching Tommy how to dance turns into them kissing. Their moment is short lived because Tommy receives a text from Diamond about the meeting with Seamus. Tommy apologizes to Mireya and promises that he’s going to make it up to her. When will Miguel find out about Mireya and Tommy? How will he respond? Will the Serbs keep their deal with Claudia?

THE FEDS

The task force begins to try and get to the bottom of Lil K’s murder. They throw out the idea that his death might be retaliation for him taking shots at Tommy. Detective DiFranco orders his people to put eyes and ears on Tommy and to set and buy-and-busts in CBI territory. The goal was to get mid-level dealers and up in hopes that someone talks. The first part of their plan worked out just how they expected. Tommy is heading to one of CBI’s spots when he walks into a boatload of cops arresting a good number of their workers. When Vargas and Hardwick return to the office, they present Detective DiFranco and Attorney Marks with the pictures they took of Tommy and Mireya. Even the Feds know that Mireya is supposed to be off limits because she’s Miguel’s little sister. Before they can celebrate their small win, they’re bombarded with something else. As the cops were arresting CBI members, they came across a couple that was copping. The woman told them that she had information on a murder. It just so happens that the person who was murdered was Colin, the guy that Vic killed last season. The woman who has the information mentions Vic by name and adds that there was another white guy with him when it happened. She ends up pointing Vic out from a group of pictures presented to her. Although Attorney Marks tries to sway her to pointing out Tommy too, the woman doesn’t budge and says that the only person she seen there was Vic. How will the Feds handle the information they recently found out about Vic? What’s their next play on Tommy? How will they respond when they find out that a fellow officer was killed?
