Katy Perry is known to rock some of the craziest costumes on stage, but her tour insurers thought her peppermint costume featuring a spinning bra was a little too dangerous.

According to reports, her insurers were worried about Katy’s safety after her hair kept getting caught in her infamous rotating peppermint bra. They were afraid that the pulling of her hair would eventually cause a neck strain.
The “Part of Me” singer isn’t the only performer who wears outfits that could be potentially dangerous to themselves or anyone around them. Lady Gaga is known to appear in outfits that feature spikes and sky-high platforms. She wore a spiked outfit and headpiece to the 2010 Grammys that could have easily taken an eye out.
Also, who could forget Nicki Minaj’s Harajuku-inspired metal peplum dress that she wore to the 2011 MTV VMAs? That thing wouldn’t allow anyone to get too close!
