We may have to call it the dog days of fall, because Givenchy’s Pre-Fall collection is here and the dogs are officially back!
After a successful run with the Rottweiler t-shirts, the brand went a bit more colorful for spring with a “Birds of Paradise” showing. But now Givenchy and the Doberman Pinscher have brought the canines back in style for their 2013 Pre-Fall collection.

Obviously everything doesn’t have dogs on it. There is a wide array of plaids, stripes and even argyle included. Givenchy also pushed the envelope yet again with the inclusion of skirts for men in the collection.

Also new this season is a repeating HDG monogram motif – for House de Givenchy. The letters are the initials of Givenchy’s founder Hubert, who began the company in 1952. Who knew his brand would have had such a resurgence 60 years after its inception? You can all thank Riccardo Tisci for that.
