The first weekend of this year’s Coachella music festival was full of surprises, from Jay Z popping up during Nas‘ set, to Justin Bieber joining Chance the Rapper on stage.
And one of many artists surprised the crowd by performing a never-before-heard song during their set. The beautiful and super talented Jhene Aiko premiered her new song, titled “Spotless Mind,” for the crowd of thousands.
The smooth track is typical Jhene, with its chill beat and focus on the Cali singer’s signature sultry voice. “Spotless Mind” even has a hint of an island vibe, enhanced by her dope live band.
Jhene’s set was one to see at the festival, as she also surprised the crowd with Childish Gambino, and performed “From Time,” leading to Drake waltzing on stage and the crowd going completely bananas.
