The friend zone. Some people flourish there, others dread it. We all have to play the friend zone at some point in our lives and this post is dedicated to that uniquely frustrating time.
Celebrities play the friend zone tough. Terrence Howard, for instance, is securely tucked in Taraji’s friend zone. After the success of their show Empire, he told Entertainment Weekly:
“We’re like father and daughter, mother and son, brother and sister,” he said. “We’ve never been lovers. When I was doing Hustle & Flow, I was like, ‘I know I’m playing this character right if all my female co-leads want to sleep with me.’ Taraji was the only one that didn’t want to.”
He’s not the only one. Justin Bieber is in Kendall Jenner’s friend zone as well.
“He’s a longtime friend of our family,” she said. “Everybody loves to assume things, but no.”
