Adele is a woman of many words, and rumor has it she unleashed a few harsh ones on Chris Brown during the Grammys on Sunday, when he refused to pay respect to Frank Ocean.

The picture below was taken just after Frank won Best Contemporary Urban Album, during which Breezy – a nominee for the same award – refused to get up for his archnemesis’ standing ovation.
You’ll most likely agree: it looks as though Adele might be chastising Chris after he was such a poor sport.
But sweet Adele cleared the viral rumor up via Twitter.

She recently tweeted:
“Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!”
It sure doesn’t look that way, but Breezy was probably just upset he lost to the man that he got into an ugly fight with just a couple of weeks ago.
Good thing there’s no Adele-Breezy beef!
