Tom Hanks (as Forrest Gump) famously said, “Life is like a box of chocolates…you never know what you’re gonna get.” And that especially rings true now that we’re finding out one of his sons is actually a rapper!

Unlike Tom’s older son Colin who is an actor, Chester Hanks has decided to get into making hip-hop music and is actually pretty good at it.

Chet Haze (Chester’s musical moniker) recently dropped the visuals to his upbeat, poppy rap record “Do It Better.”

Shot by Smokestack Recordings LLC, the video takes place in a club where Chet meets his sexy co-star and eventually the two end up back at Chet’s apartment, where he successfully convinces her that he can “Do It Better.”

Do what exactly? Use your imagination. Chet’s mix of singing and rapping makes for the perfect party song and actually does a good job at paying respect to the ladies without sounding “soft.”

Smokestack’s visuals to “Do It Better” bring the song to life in a way that you wouldn’t normally see from a new artist like Chet. The two gentlemen, Tamoya Smokestack and Mike Primo, behind the full service entertainment and production company have directed and produced over twenty-five official industry quality music videos in collaboration with artists such as Mobb Deep, Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, Saigon, Joe Budden, and Jeremih.
