It’s probably safe to say that Lana Del Rey is a huge rock fan.

In the past, the singer has proved to be obsessed with Guns N’ Roses’ lead singer, Axl Rose.

Lana is continuing to show some love to the rock legends. Last night, during a performance at Enmore Theatre in Sydney, Australia, the singer covered a Nirvana song (which is funny considering that Kurt Cobain and Axl were once rivals.)

Lana does her own stirring rendition of the classic Nirvana track “Heart-Shaped Box,” the lead single off the band’s final album, In Utero

Lana was backed by an assortment of beautiful and somber sounding strings. Sometimes the band drowns her voice out a little, but, all in all, the singer does a good job covering the track.

Kurt Cobain would have been happy…we think.
