Pusha T’s debut album – which has yet to receive an official title – is one of the most highly anticipated hip-hop projects of 2012.

So it seemed only right for MTV to sit down with the G.O.O.D. Music emcee to gain a little more insight on how his Def Jam solo effort will sound.

“This album was based off of the move Devil’s Advocate’… just the feel of the album,” Pusha said. “Devil’s Advocate is a very dark movie, but at the same time, visually, it’s beautiful…. I speak about the harsh realities of street life but there’s a lot of glitz and glamour to come along with that.”

The Bronx rapper also shed light on his creative process in the studio and the regrets behind passing up on some certified beats, including Hit-Boy’s “N*ggas In Paris.”
