After the news broke that George Zimmerman was acquitted of manslaughter and murder charges for killing Trayvon Martin, many were appauled to find out he could get the same gun back he used to shoot him.
It turns out that he may have to wait awhile before that happens, but the Ohio PAC is pretty upset about it.
According to the Daytona Daily News, the PAC is planning to raise money in order to buy Zimmerman a brand new gun that he can own himself.
The Buckeye Firearms Association’s website states in their article:
We’re buying ZIMMERMAN a NEW GUN – We need your help.”
It continues:
“We have created the Zimmerman Second Amendment Fund. We encourage you to donate whatever you can afford, $100 … $50 … $25 … even just $10. We will provide Mr. Zimmerman, who has no current source of income, with the funds he needs to replace his firearm, holster, and other gear.”
There are no details as to how much money was raised so far by the Ohio PAC, but hopefully it’s not too much!
This is pretty outrageous to give a murderer another gun! WTF!
