Rupert Murdoch, News Corps C.E.O., has become front page news all over the world after his newspaper News of The World has been implicated in a phone hacking scandal that gets deeper with each passing day.

What’s even more interesting is that Fox News and the New York Post, both owned by Murdoch, hasn’t been covering the world’s number one story like they do other big stories. There hasn’t been one cover of the New York Post that even mentions the Murdoch scandal.

Fox News has taken a different tact when it comes to covering their boss’ current legal situation, by sticking to the talking point that the left wing outlets of the world are out to get Murdoch and continue to pile on even after the 80-year-old billionaire apologized for the hacking scandal. Is that so, should we forget that under Murdoch’s watch, News International has been hacking the phones of 9/11 victims and their families?

We get the sense that if this was the New York Times or MSNBC under the same scrutiny, Fox News coverage would be a little different.

Either way, the New York Post and Fox News continue to turn a blind eye to their C.E.O.’s problems. So while their heads were in the sand, they missed a few headlines that would have been right up their alley.
