Tuesday is here again and your week is officially underway. Thankfully we are always looking out for you and have found some things that you can do today for just $10 or less. The work week may be stressful but hopefully we can help you get your mind of it in today’s installment of Dollars & Sense. Check it out below.

Go See A Movie:

Many move theaters offer a Tuesday promotion where the matinee price (or less) is given all day. With $10 bucks you may not be able to go all out at the concession stand but you will definitely have enough for a ticket and something to snack on. Right now, The Hunger Games has been reigning supreme at the box office. If you haven’t gotten a chance to make your way down to the theater to see the movie starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, today may be your day to go check it out. Peep the trailer below!

Wind Down At A Happy Hour:

If your day felt a little longer than it should have, maybe your best bet may be to wind down at your local pub.  Most bars have happy hour specials where you may be able to get one or two drinks for $10. Even if you don’t drink, you can go hang out and get an appetizer while you watch the game on the bar’s television or socialize with the other working Joes that are also doing the same thing you are. Just try not to drink too much. You have work tomorrow.

Financial Tip Of The Day

Drink Coffee At Home

If you are one of those people who buys their cup of coffee every morning, let’s face it, your Starbucks budget is astronomical! Maybe you should try brewing your own coffee in the morning and save on buying your latte. Even if it isn’t an every day occurrence, the $5 that you spend at your local coffee shop can add up if you cut it out of your every day budget.
