Rick Ross‘ ‘Blowin’ Money Fast (B.M.F.)’ has long been crowned the song of the summer, thanks to it’s anthemic chorus and Lex Luger-produced beat. The track shows no sign of slowing down, with Young Jeezy and Bun B adding their names to the long list of emcees who’ve hopped on the track. Jeezy’s version, ‘Death Before Dishonor,’ is causing controversy, with many seeing the track as a not-so-subliminal diss to Ross (Jeezy is friends with the actual Big Meech, whereas Ross ‘thinks’ he’s Big Meech). One line in particular that has people talking is ‘How you blowin’ money fast?/You don’t know the crew/ Oh you part of the fam?/ Shit I never knew…’ Hmmm. Bun goes in on the track as well, taking down detractors who feel like his Trill O.G. album didn’t deserve the 5 Mics Review it recieved in The Source.
