Hey GlobalGrind viewers it’s Freezy @missfree.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Just like so many others, my family has lost a Loved one in the fight. My mom Selina “Tina” Wright passed away December 15, 2009, 3.5 years after she was diagnosed with terminal Breast Cancer.

It hasn’t even been a year and me, my brother Michael, our family and friends are still reeling from the loss of love, leadership, strength and friendship that she provided us. We miss her and tears still fall (as they are now.)

Losing a loved one from Cancer is unexplainable, but nothing like the pain they go through everyday to fight it. It affects the lives of so many people and families. So we’ve decided to focus on finding a cure as she would want us to.

So, our family and friends will walk in her honor this Sunday Oct 3, 2010 on what would have been her 60th Birthday. The American Cancer Society “Making Strides for Cancer” walk takes place that day at 8am at the DCR Hatch Shell.
