YouTube Star Sucked From Hummer In Joplin, Missouri (PHOTOS)

Will Norton, 18, was in a car with his father and was sucked out of the sunroof of his Hummer H3 during the tornado that devastated Joplin, Missouri.

Norton was driving home from his school graduation when the tornado hit. His father tried to hold onto his son as the car started to flip, but his seatbelt snapped and he went hurtling through the roof of the vehicle. The high school student’s sister Sara Norton was speaking to their father on the phone as the tornado hit.

Norton was a YouTube sensation and had a channel under the name of “Willdabeast” where he posted a series of comedic, diary-style videos for his loyal web following. The site, last updated two months ago, boasted almost 1.5 million views and had nearly 5,000 subscribers.

Though his most-viewed video was posted three years ago, the Justin Bieber look-alike had continued to produce and post webisodes as recently as March, though he acknowledged a slowdown in recent months.
