After already being high profile stars and entertainers, many celebrities (notably singers and rappers) take their entertaining skills to other avenues.

Not only are they performing at major concerts, but they are offering a few private performances of their own, which just so happen to bring in the big bucks.

From birthday parties to weddings to exclusive events, these stars are getting paid whopping amounts to grace guests and fans with their musicality.

If you’re looking to book some celebrity acts for your next shindig, you might want to start pinching your pennies because these performances don’t come at a bargain.

Take Jennifer Lopez for example. Her recent performance at a wedding in the Ukraine garnered her a staggering $1 million as she graced the stage performing hits such as “Waiting For Tonight” and “On The Floor.”

But J-Lo isn’t the only one rolling in the dough from these kinds of performances.

In 2002, the Rolling Stones were paid the gargantuan sum of $5 million to play a 90-minute set for a party. These legendary rockers, however, decided to put this lump sum of cash toward a good cause by donating it to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

George Michael was paid the insanely large amount of $3.5 million by Russian billionaire Vladmir Potanin to perform a 75-minute set for 300 guests at his New Year’s Eve party.

Sting racked up a solid $3 million when he was hired to perform for the dictator Islam Karimov’s daughter.

Maybe one of the reasons that the Rolling Stones got paid so much for their presence was because of Sir Elton John himself. Alone, he racked up $2.5 million to sing at a private event and he again, donated it to his AIDS foundation.

Leona Lewis was paid surprisingly well as well when she received $1.5 million to perform for John Caudwell’s daughter Libby’s 21st birthday bash.

Kanye and Jay-Z recently performed at a Sweet 16 party for Leslie Taylor, the daughter of one of Hov’s business associates. Individually, both Hov and Yeezy have been paid $1 million to perform at birthday parties, so adding those figures up would equal a whopping $2 million for their performance.

R&B Diva Rihanna was paid half a million dollars by yet another Russian billionaire by the name of Oleg Deripaska to perform at his New Year’s Eve bash.

Lastly, Drizzy Drake got paid the least, receiving a mere $250,000 in comparison to some of his peers. Drizzy racked up this quarter of a million dollars by performing at the Bar Mitzvah of former NBC/Universal employee Jeff Zucker.
