Joining the list of charitable celebrities, Miley Cyrus is making quite a name for herself out in Haiti as she volunteers at the Starkey Hearing Foundation, an organization that aids needy people worldwide.

No more “Party in the USA” for this girl, Miley shows that she is becoming more mature, generous and responsible. During her visit, she also got some facetime with Haitian President Michel Martelly, telling him, “I hope I can come back soon.”
At one point she even rounded up a group of school kids and led a sing-a-along of her hit song “Party in the USA.”

It’s always great to read news about young people going out and lending a helping hand to those who need it. Miley is setting a good example for others to follow, and we gotta say it, we sure are proud of her!
