On the surface, Carmelo Anthony looks a little disheveled in this photo taken last night at the 2011 GQ Gentleman’s Ball at Edison Ballroom in NYC.

But look closely and what you’ll see are some very interesting style choices.
Whether it’s the gold watch on his enormous left hand, or the black and white bracelet below the rolled up sleeve of his grey Calvin Klein collection suit, it’s obvious that Melo took some time in putting himself together.
Carmelo even adds the green scarf to show off his style maturity.
Further helping the Knick is the black tee Melo chose in lieu of a traditional shirt and tie: it says relaxed, yet sophisticated.
What you don’t see, however, are the Christian Louboutin Pony Leopard Sneakers on Melo’s feet. Those are crazy!
