Things are moving along quickly for Katy Perry and Russell Brand in their divorce.

STORY: Russell Brand Divorces Katy Perry

According to reports by TMZ, the pair has agreed that Katy will stay in the pair’s $6.5 million home. As we previously reported, Russell is entitled to half of everything Katy’s, but it seems like the couple have decided to travel the less frequented road of decency in this divorce.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have agreed … Katy will stay in the couple’s $6.5 million Hollywood Hills mansion and Russell will move out … TMZ has learned.
Sources close to the couple tell us … the moving process is already under way and most of Russell’s stuff is already out of the home.
We’re told … the two are on reasonably good terms with each other, considering they just broke up … and the decision over the house went pretty smoothly.
As we previously reported, the couple purchased the home together just a few months ago. We’re guessing if Katy wants to stay in the home long term, she’ll most likely have to cut Russell a big, fat check.

As we reported, Katy’s parents have also came forward to comment on the happenings in their daughter’s life at the moment. Keith and Mary Hudson addressed a crowd at their Church on the Rise in Westlake, Ohio earlier this week and according to the NY post this is what they had to say about Katy’s divorce from Russell:

“I love my daughter and I will always love her. Stop being judgmental and critical. Do not close the doors to your loved ones, especially your children. What has taken place in my daughter’s life has opened many opportunities to go in and be with guarded and gated people.”

We are happy to see that Katy has the backing of her loving family during this difficult time.
