Selah Sue is back with an oldie, but goodie!
The Belgian singer/songwriter first released her debut studio album Selah Sue in 2011, which featured the breakout hit “Raggamuffin.”

But now, she’s recruited Roc Nation artist J.Cole to add a few bars of his own to the reggae/pop track.
Cole goes in, reflectively rapping:
“Foot in the door / promised when I made it / I’d write my hooks for the poor / but now I’m hella faded / and got my foot to the floor / while I’m pushin’ this Porsche / but I seem more concerned with how I look in the source / take a look in the mirror just to see the remorse / take a look at my chain / look at what I became.”

Selah Sue sings on the hook:
“You never had it easy, I know / but I still remember you / and what we used to say so / this my song for you my friend / you can only see that I / can hardly let things go.”
Sounds like Selah Sue has got another hit on her hands.
