Michael Marin, Convicted Arsonist Appears To Pop Pill Before Death (VIDEO)

Compelling evidence shows that convicted arsonist, Michael Marin, may have poisoned himself in court. Video footage of the courtroom shows that Marin appears to have swallowed something after hearing the guilty verdict.

Minutes later, he collapsed and died.

This was already a bizarre case before this theatrical-like incident occurred. Marin was convicted for setting his Biltmore mansion on fire, because he could no longer afford the mortgage. He escaped through a second floor window wearing scuba gear – and was found outside the burning home, according to Fox Phoenix.

Michael Marin entered the courtroom at 12:43 Thursday afternoon. He appeared to only have a bottled drink in his hands, which he took a drink from before sitting at the defendant’s table.

Two minutes later, Marin’s world was shaken as he heard the jury’s verdict:

“We the jury, duly impaneled and sworn in the above entitled action upon our oath, do find the defendant Michael James Marin guilty of arson of an occupied structure.”

Marin then buried his face into his hands in anguish and sorrow. There he appears to have placed something into his mouth.

About 5 minutes later, he placed the bottled drink on the table and once again placed his face into his hands. Again, he seemingly swallowed something.  

The apparent poisoning is quite clear with a close look of the video, where it looks as though Marin placed a toxic substance in his mouth.

At 12:52, Marin took a final drink. A few seconds later, he turned to talk to the people sitting behind him.

A woman handed him tissue, and from there, things took a turn for the worse. He began to convulse at first lightly. But quickly it grows more violent. His attorneys called for help.

Marin hunched over, slowly collapsing to the ground as others rushed in to help. Someone asked for someone to call 911 and several people ran to help him.

About 10 minutes later, cell phone video captured paramedics wheeling Marin into an ambulance. He was later declared dead.

He faced up to nearly 16 years in prison if convicted.
