With the success of Single Ladies, VH1 has decided to pick up another hour-long scripted series entitled Bounce. This new show will star Dean Cain (best known for his role as Clark Kent in Superman) Kimberly Elise, Charlotte Ross, newcomer Taylour Paige and Logan Browning.

Bounce was created and written by James LaRosa and directed by Sanaa Hamri. This show will be VH1’s first hour-long series premiere, since Single Ladies actually originated as a movie.
This new program will revolve around the lives and loves of the Los Angeles Devil Girls, the dance team for the country’s number one professional basketball team.
Jeff Olde, EVP Original Programming and Production at VH1 said:
“Bounce has all the elements we know VH1 viewers love; a world very much on the pop culture radar, an incredible cast and compelling, addictive storytelling. We wanted to create a scripted series at VH1 in which music is a strong narrative force, and we have found that with Bounce.”
