DETAILS: Q-Tip Says Cruel Winter Album Is Coming Soon
Just when fans thought they were one step closer to absorbing everything Cruel Winter, they receive a cruel blow that the Cruel Winter film trailer does not involve Kanye West.
Fuse caught up with the film’s director Austin Christianson, who was a little elusive in giving up the details, but maintained that Kanye didn’t have a hand in the trailer, rather that the trailer was a pitch for a possible Cruel Winter film.

Austin stated:
“Without getting into many details, I will say that the trailer was independently made and the video is essentially a concept trailer. It’s used for pitching an idea and/or concept to a client. With that said, the video was being used for pitching purposes and it’s naturally intended only for the client to see.”
We don’t quite know who the “client” is, but we’re assuming the “client” is code word for Kanye.
So fans don’t give up hope yet, a Cruel Winter short film involving Yeezy may be coming.
