Originally we thought Hedi Slimane was using Marilyn Manson as the new face of Saint Laurent Paris. Although he is using Marylin, the ad featuring the Beautiful People singer is part of a much larger campaign titled the Saint Laurent Music Project.

A part of the new project Hedi has photographed Kim Gordon (of Sonic Youth), Courtney Love, and Ariel Pinkin addition to Marilyn Manson. All of the pictures were taken in Hedi’s signature black & white style and show each artist’s individual style, while wearing Saint Laurent of course.

This isn’t how we are used to seeing the French luxury brand, under the creative direction of Hedi Slimane you have to expect some type of rock n’ roll influence and we got it.
