We’ve all heard stories about our favorite celebrities getting into trouble with the law. The crimes they have committed are usually dismissed by paying a fine and then they continue on with their glamourous lifestyle with only the tabloids and bad publicity as their true punishment. For most celebrities, their fame is their jail free card. There have been some celebrities who have served less then a few hours in jail, but what about the celebrities who had more time to serve? Could they adjust to new lifestyles behind bars and abandon their mansions for a small jail cell? They could avoid the paparazzi but can they avoid dropping the soap? Check out the next few pages to see some celebrities who had to trade their Cadillacs for cuffs. 

 


LiL Wayne: The rapper pleaded guilty in October after a pistol was found on his tour bus in 2007.

Jail Time: He is currently serving a one-year sentence.

LiL Kim: Convicted of lying to the grand jury in connection with a shootout outside a Manhattan radio station in 2001.

Jail Time: LiL Kim served ten months in prison and was released July 3, 2006.

Gucci Mane: Violated probation from an incident in 2005 which the rapper assualted a club promoter.

Jail Time: Released today after serving six months.

Foxy Brown:  Sentenced to one year in jail for violating probation that came from a fight with two manicurists in a New York City nail salon.

Jail Time: Brown only served 8 Months.

Mike Tyson: Known notoriously for his 1991 sexual assault on a woman in an Indiana hotel room. He was convicted of rape that landed him in jail from 1992 to 1995

Boy George: Convicted of falsely imprisoning a male escort and handcuffing him to a wall.

Jail Time: Four Months

Cassidy: Guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of 22-year-old

Lloyd Banks: Allegedly assaulted and robbed a concert promoter in Canada.
