When people think of Kris Kross they always think about “Jump.”

The song, which was the first single off of their classic debut album, Totally Krossed Out, and which topped the charts the year it was released, in 1992, has grown into one of the most beloved rap songs of all time.

But “Jump” wasn’t the only track they had. Kris Kross had hits, man. Follow up songs like “Warm it Up” and “I Missed the Bus” were both notable hits in the 92.

Even when Kris Kross went a little harder the next year, on their sophomore album Da Bomb, the group was still dropping bangers, including the album’s title track, which was the first appearance of Da Brat.

Even in 1996, when it was clear Kris Kross was done, the duo had “Live And Die For Hip Hop,” a highlight from the mostly unfortunate Young, Rich & Dangerous LP.

Point blank, Kris Kross were legendary.

So, let’s treat them like legends.
