Gerry Lane and his family are sitting in normal New York City traffic when they notice chaos ensuing around them; helicopters circle overhead, police wiz by and people begin running from every direction. When Lane discovers the source of the chaos, he agrees to team up with his old coworkers to put an end to the zombie plague.
