Drunk driving is never something to joke about, and yesterday, Katy Perry certainly wasn’t laughing.
The Teenage Dream singer got a pretty scary call yesterday to find out that the golden truck she was using to promote her new album Prism was hit by a drunk driver.
According to TMZ, the incident happened in a Wal-Mart parking lot near Pennsylvania where a semi-truck, driven by an intoxicated driver, slammed into the Katy Perry promo vehicle.
The driver of the golden truck was okay since he was inside the store, but the truck itself suffered some pretty hefty damages.
Reports also reveal that the drunk driver was arrested on the spot for his carelessness, and Katy was not inside the truck.
We’re glad Katy wasn’t on the scene and that the driver of the truck is okay. Drunk driving is never safe!
