So the 2013 MTV VMAS went down tonight. And they had the potential to be the best ever. I’m not trying to be dramatic but all the promos really hyped it up, and it was live from the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and there were rumors of an *NSYNC reunion, and Kanye performed, so yeah.
There was a lot of potential…but it didn’t really live up to it. Sorry, MTV, but you’ve done better. I mean, last year Rihanna and Chris Brown were spotted together for the first time in years (major) and Drake rocked a really tight shirt and gave Chris Brown the side eye. A lot happened.
This year? Not so much.
So for all of you who for whatever odd reason missed the show, you didn’t miss a whole lot, but here are all the important things that happened that you need to know about.
Lady Gaga opened the show and showed her bare ass [this is just 1 of her 4 different performance looks.]

Justin Timberlake accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in a fedora, but before he did, he gave the most epic performance anyone has ever seen.
And he did the most amazing thing ever x 100. He reunited with *NSYNC.
