Between the “maybe” pregnancy, the lies and the violence, George Zimmerman’s latest legal saga is turning into a Jerry Springer episode.

Now, a source close to the former neighborhood watch volunteer is claiming that Samantha Scheibe, Zimmerman’s girlfriend, is vengefully framing him, adding yet another layer to this bizarre case.

According to TMZ, who spoke with the unnamed source, Scheibe lied about her pregnancy to keep Zimmerman around. And when he tried to leave, that’s when she called the police to concoct the lie that he locked her out of her own house and pointed a gun in her face.

Early this month, George made it clear to Samantha he was leaving her and leaving Florida. Samantha then dropped a bombshell– that she was 6 weeks pregnant. George now believes she was lying about it in order to keep him in her grip.

George then offered to make a child custody and support deal … but Samantha wanted him.

On Monday … things came to a head when George was packing his bags to leave and our sources say Samantha concocted the whole gun scenario as revenge.

Could this be true?

Robert Zimmerman Jr., George’s brother, seems to think so.

Yesterday on Twitter, the outspoken older brother of the man acquitted of murdering Trayvon Martin posted this screenshot of a document that revealed Scheibe’s mother, Hope Mason, was in need of money:

He also mentioned that Mason and Scheibe were shopping around to tell their Zimmerman story to a big network.

That information may be true. Yesterday, Local 6 revealed that Mason and Scheibe had been providing them information about Zimmerman over the span of a few weeks and seeking interviews with national media outlets to tell their story. Mason said she hoped by Scheibe doing the interview, she would force Zimmerman to get help – and the attention would keep Scheibe safe.

Scheibe also told Local 6 that she feared for her life after Zimmerman became increasingly violent and suicidal after his high-profile trial.

That’s a lot of he said, she said! So we have to ask you…
