Behind all of the negativity in the world, there are actually a lot of random acts of kindness.

In Texas, a father of one of the students who attends the elementary school has decided to pay off the school’s entire lunch debt.

According to KSDK, Kenny Thompson was inspired by the story of the Utah school that threw out over 40 lunches of students who had unpaid balances, so he decided to make sure that didn’t happen to anyone from his own town of Houston.

He told the station:

“I’m like, ‘Wow. I know that’s probably a situation at my school, and the school my son goes to, and the other schools I mentor at.’ So I came in and inquired about it.”

“These are elementary school kids,” Thompson told KSDK. “They don’t need to be worried about finances. They need to be worried about what grade they got in spelling.”

Kenny came through with a total of $465 to cover the unpaid lunches of about 60 students who are in debt.

What a guy!
